Nuno felting is a fabric felting technique that bonds loose wool fibers into sheer fabric. Using merino wool roving and cotton gauze or silk (your choice), come learn the basics of nuno felting with fiber artist, Jonatha Foli. You will create a nuno felted sample to take home and be ready to explore the technique further.

Teacher Bio: With a degree in Art Education, Jonatha has been involved in fiber arts, knitting, and crocheting since she was a child. At Stitches West 10 years ago she was introduced to the art of wet felting. Since then she has attended many felting workshops with master instructors, extending her knowledge and technique. She has also taught classes in nuno and wet felting at Summerfield Waldorf Live Oak Charter, Petaluma Arts Center, Cast Away, and Folk, and privately in the Bay Area. She is thrilled to be teaching wet felting at hand ∙ made studio and looks forward to many new wet felting adventures.
