Choosing, Washing, and Carding Raw Fleece

Join us for a day on the ranch at Bodega Pastures in beautiful Bodega, CA and learn how to pick and process a raw fleece yourself. We’ll cover the basics of how to choose a fleece to suit your needs, as well as how to wash, card, and prepare it for use. Start with a raw fleece, and end the class with a clean, prepared one! Buy a fleece from us ($30) and the class is free, or bring your own and the class is $20.

10am-1pm Sunday, June 28th

Meet at the Bodega Pastures barn, just outside the town of Bodega, which holds a diversity of fleeces: grays, whites, browns, and several breeds, including Romney, Corriedale, and rare Navajo-Churro.
