Weaving with Karen Hungersford

Learn to weave with local Sonoma County artist Karen Hungersford!  This class is designed for beginning to intermediate weavers, with a focus on good basic techniques and an individual approach for each student to learn at their own speed.  The class will cover weaving, equipment, and different materials, with an overview of several different looms (treadle floor loom, rigid heddle, and Inkle loom), as well as different materials (wool, cotton, and rag-weaving).  This basic class will give you a good foundation for your individual goals, and prepare you for learning warping and efficient weaving technique.

When: Saturdays, June 13th & June 20th   Class limit: 4

Cost: $40 per class, or both classes for $75, optional materials fee of $25—or feel free to bring your own yarn!
